Getting around
There are lots of activities to do in the town and the famous North Coast, including the Bushmills distillery, the rope bridge, and of course the Giants Causeway. The Tourist information centre is a short walk away for all up to date information.
The town is also famous for many activities, including our own amusement park Currys/Barrys, fishing, golfing, water sports, walking, running and fabulous restaurants.
You would not need a car to get around. Everything is within short walking distance. Portrush is a great place to relax, recharge and feel at home. You will not want to leave!
If you have a car there is free on street parking in front of property in the designated bay. Alternatively there is a large free carpark at west strand beach under the stone bridge leading, or another within 300m behind the fire station.
There is a main bus stop in front of property, and the main train station is within 300m with trains regularly, and there are lots of taxis available also.

Situated on an historic popular street on entrance to Portrush, its just minutes walk to the famous centre, which is full of activities for all interests.
There is the large Dunluce Park across the road with childrens play area and a short walk to arrive on either West Strand beach to the rear or East strand beach further in front.
You couldn't be in a better location to enjoy the town by foot, and if arriving by car you avoid most of the heavy traffic in town on busy days.

Peter’s airbnb was perfect for our family. The key system he has is the best I’ve seen and it made it so easy to get inside. The washer was also great, he has an ironing board + drying rack in the unit so by morning all our laundry was dry and ready to go! The water pressure was amazing!! Thank you Peter for a great stay.
